Intropect

It was so late in the night
One was so fast asleep
One did not wake mine.

I reached for gold mine

I felt a heel,
I moved up knee,
Reached pate...

So impetuous, so unrestrained,
I reached first fruits, my fountain

I heard some nocturnal bird howl
Not for me the melancholic cry!

Merrily, merrily I sang along,
Meted out the blessed acts,
Dug out the priceless gems.

Nymph Yvonne

I came out last night,
Caught sight of dainty nymph

In drapes...

She basked in silvery breeze,
This quiet twilight.

I stared at Moon, silvery moon
- Crescent covered
All. You rose above
Horizon. Golden bulbs bulged,
Bearing apples; fine, straight,
Innocent nipples half-clad.

Altogether comely,
Charming powerful Spirit!
Could just be the guide... prophetess!

Soon, I'll come up closer
To the woods and azure - thence
Gaze, shall I behold you as being this
Graceful still, Yvonne?

REST

Roses have their beds
Ants, their hills

Birds, their nests.

I have no rest.

Pray, give your heart, dear

Let my love dwell there...

Have some rest.

My soul will rest.

I shall feel free

Hey, look! In the zest,

I must show the crest

Hung across your breast.

Tolani,
How I love you!

But I hear your heart burns
For someone else.

Think of me

Botuje tree emits effusions of bloody juice:
Its bark is badly peeled.

BACHELOR'S MIND

Here couch I
And my world's darkness
Strangles stubborn light
Of Proud Moon.

To lack life's light!
No kids to gladden the heart
No mother to bring them up.

A victim of a dark, cold country I am.

No past, no present, no future
But myself;
Made distant to all.

And it seems to me I chase a mirage
It seems I hope in vain
Nay, it seems I'm nothing
But a mere dreamer.

God, help me your will to do
"And the two shall turn one,
Cease to be two
But one."

I lack the fraction to make me whole;
The female figure.
